Dr Ashok is such a lovely lady, a very calming personality with sympathetic attitudes! She is very proactive and explained exactly the treatment I shall be getting, so refreshing, giving me peace of mind! I feel very grateful to have her as my consultant!! The nurse that accompanied Dr Ashok was also very friendly and so kind ! Thank you Dr Ashok, really appreciated your consultation! I look forward to, hopefully, starting medication very soon! I have every confidence in Dr Ashok as my rheumatologist. She is remarkably knowledgeable and thorough in her diagnosis. She is also very aware of what her patients are going through because of having an illness, and treats her patients with empathy and compassion. I am very happy to recommend Dr Ashok for rheumatology.

I found Dr.Ashok very kind, understanding, and extremely competent. She was very thorough in making the diagnosis, and then also throughout my treatment, and I was aware of her keen intuition and long experience and knowledge, in this field of medicine. I had complete confidence in her, and her down to earth manner made me feel quite comfortable about seeing her, and telling her about my problems. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Ashok to anyone considering having a consultation leading to treatment with her. Dr. Ashok gave me hope, and each appointment was a constructive step towards a complete recovery.

I met with Dr Ashok in order to obtain information relative to one specific condition that occurred recently, namely I had suddenly lost most of the use of my hands or more precisely fingers. I was unbale to lift /grip or push with my fingers without a great deal of pain. Dr Ashok, after a lengthy discussion as to what might be the problem, which she would be able to pin down after various blood tests, suggested in the interim I might consider a steroid injection. Having heard of and had first hand acquaintance with some friends who had very serious adverse effects from Steroids, I was rather reluctant but since the injection was to be in my 'Derriere' I agreed. Dr Ashok said that there were possibly going to be side effects from the injection which might improve a back /hip problem I had also recently begun suffering with and this proved to be the case. Not only did I regain full use of my hands but my back/ hip problems seemed to decrease to some extent. Dr Ashok warned that the effect of the injection would begin wear off after six to eight weeks and now, seven weeks after the injection, this is proving the case however she has prescribe a further course of Tablets which will hopefully prolong the effect. I am looking foreward to being able to continue with my work as a marine engineer as well as my various hobbies in the year to come.

I have been under Dr. Ashok care for 3 years now, and was in extreme pain with seronegative rheumatoid arthritis when I was first introduced to her, she explained everything to me in a very clear manner. She is also kind and friendly. Dr. Ashok is terrific. Knowledgeable, sensitive, informative… I immediately felt at ease – and felt confident in receiving expert medical care. I walked away, very impressed with the overall experience. HIGHLY recommend. I thank her for all her time and constant support through my experience.
